System requirements for the computer tune-up include: Windows 98 or newer Windows operating system; sufficient hard drive space for the installation of a few diagnostic and corrective utilities; and a working Internet connection. Some procedures require a high-speed Internet connection for optimal performance and improvement.
Adware and Spyware removal may cause some programs not to work eg. KaZaa, Gator, Bonzi Buddy, Comet cursor and many other spyware filled programs. For optimum benefits from this offer, you must be willing to let us uninstall any or all of these programs. If you are not willing to uninstall these programs, then the tune-up will be unsuccessful.
A tune-up is just that... a tune-up. It will not correct problems caused by hardware failure, viruses, or serious corruption of system or program files. The tune-up is intended for intact systems that need cleaning and tuning, not for systems that have damaged hardware or serious software problems. If such problems are detected, the technician will offer you the option of abandoning the tune-up (at no cost to you), or of correcting the additional problems (at regular rates for the parts and/or services required).
Improvement on performance will vary depending upon the age, general condition, and resources of the system.
